Devils Tower is our nation's first national park. It is a most amazing rock structure, and is a national landmark sacred to the Native Americans. I certainly understand why the Black Hills were sacred to the Native Americans, with the numerous caves, crystal clear waters and waterfalls, and unique landforms in the middle of the prairies. We all need to respect and be good stewards of God's amazing creation.

Below, you see the large deposit of red clay terraced formations, east to northeast of Devils Tower.
