The concrete pad below the telephone pole was the site of the old garage (which was moved to another location).

The little fountain pond is where the dog pen was, fenced off in chainlink and lattice.

The fence is where a row of 30 ugly elm trees had been standing in a hedge. After the trees were cut down, the stumps were covered with soil, creating the rise for the small terrace around the patio, which used to be the old garage floor.
